Hydrophobic by design. PTFE sheds moisture instead of wicking it. A wet filter is a failed filter, and these don't wet out.
3M high-temp adhesive. Applied before sterilization, holds through the cycle, no re-taping afterward.
20mm over a standard 1/4" port. Everyone has a quarter inch bit, and the sticker is deliberately oversized for the hole. The extra adhesive contact all the way around is why these stay put instead of lifting mid-cycle.
